      • A scheme, program, or method worked out beforehand for the accomplishment of an objective: a plan of attack.
      • A proposed or tentative project or course of action: had no plans for the evening.
      • A systematic arrangement of elements or important parts; a configuration or outline: a seating plan; the plan of a story.
      • A drawing or diagram made to scale showing the structure or arrangement of something.
      • In perspective rendering, one of several imaginary planes perpendicular to the line of vision between the viewer and the object being depicted.
      • A program or policy stipulating a service or benefit: a pension plan.
    • Project Management:
      • Project management is a carefully planned and organized effort to accomplish a specific (and usually) one-time effort, for example, construct a building or implement a new computer system. Project management includes developing a project plan, which includes defining project goals and objectives, specifying tasks or how goals will be achieved, what resources are need, and associating budgets and timelines for completion. It also includes implementing the project plan, along with careful controls to stay on the “critical path”, that is, to ensure the plan is being managed according to plan. Project management usually follows major phases (with various titles for these phases), including feasibility study, project planning, implementation, evaluation and support/maintenance. (Program planning is usually of a broader scope than project planning, but not always.)
    • Planning:
      • Simply put, planning is selecting priorities and results (goals, objectives, etc.) and how those results will achieved. Planning typically includes identifying goals, objectives, methods, resources needed to carry out methods, responsibilities and dates for completion of tasks.

      • Penyempurnaan berkesinambungan
      • Tujuannya: menyempurnakan mutu, proses, sistem,
        biaya, dan penjadwalan demi kepuasan pelanggan.
      • Metode Kaizen: pertama, mengubah cara kerja
        karyawan sehingga karyawan bekerja lebih produktif,
        tidak terlalu melelahkan, lebih efisien, dan aman; kedua,
        memperbaiki peralatan; ketiga, memperbaiki prosedur
      • Langkah Kaizen:
        • lakukan “review” terhadap “standar kerja” yang berlaku untuk memeriksa kinerja saat ini;
        • kedua lakukan “estimasi” seberapa jauh kinerja masih dapat diperbaiki. Jika sudah optimal barulah standar dinaikkan.
  • Pasca amal (review; muhasabah; evaluation)
